As you scroll down the page and that Polo is revealed, you can't be normal if you can't feel your eyebrows head further and further up your forehead...

Dear God that Hunter is absolutely MEGA. My mate had one years and years ago now and it was bloody rare then. He offered it to me for £40 and I couldn't get the money. I always knew from that very moment in time I would regret not being able to afford it.

Just one of them did. The other one had to wait until I got to the Megane underneath it. I can usually see a positive side to most cars, even if it's just as a way to keep out of the rain, but that Polo really has no redeeming features whatsoever. Tempted to bid, win it and turn up with a large trebuchet aimed at the nearest tall building.

And just on earth made that Migraine owner decide that the best way of balancing out the car's unappealing lack of electrical integrity was to add more electronics to it.

As a service to the community, if I ever become fabulously wealthy, I will buy this:

And travel the country picking up my ebay wins. That polo for starters, followed by anything else irretrievably ruined in the name of unoriginal, unsafe scene mods. That suspension-free Micra on Retro Rides will be second.

As a car nut with very little experience of restoration, I seem to have bitten off far more than I can chew and therefore I have decided to sell the car after 2 years of head scratching and very little work

Nice work professor, undoing/doing up nuts and bolts and cleaning and painting stuff is pretty brain-bending I'll admit

As for missing parts, I would say apart from the engine and a few ancillery components, there is very little missing
