Just a thought, but it would surely have cheaper, less embarrassing and more 'fun' to have nailed your purple headed womb broom to next door's fence.

Fuck knows where though.

With a little bit of imagination you could upcycle that roof rack into a lovely pallet

Jonny Smith is in the process of wedging a V6 out of an 827 into one.

I think you mean various people are building it for him.

The a series maestro used a vw gearbox so a mix & match driveshaft is a distinct possibility.

That garage used to be around the corner(-ish) to my old house. Legit place and they let you have a good look around without hassle. Their other stock is usually on the pricey side but they seem to flog on cheaper stuff. I imagine quite a bit of their custom are old folk going for an upgrade and going around the corner to their local garage, despite the stock being expensive.

Help this man, he needs help. He certainly needs to be here being enabled by a bunch of reprobates, he may already be here for all I know.

That interior doesn't look much* worse than many '80's offerings, it must be fucking dire with 50cc though. A strong tail wind is your friend!

If the engine pic hadn't been included I don't think I would have believed 49cc

That'll probably be a Mobylette-based engine - in road tune they don't make much more than 4bhp (the engine in mine is 3.5).  You can tune them to a lot more, but then they become peaky as f*ck and thus completely useless for powering something as heavy as that Ligier.

That's what I thought. So, with two people in I'm assuming you'd have to plan your journeys carefully, no steep inclines?

I wouldn't fancy climbing the Alpe d'Huez two-up, but those 50cc microcars were so comically low-geared that they will manage a reasonable incline before grinding to a halt.  The flip side of course being that at 6,000rpm they're doing about 22mph.

Are they chain driven or direct drive?

Im just wondering how much of an arse ache it would be to pop in a more useable engine such as one of the many 125cc pit bike engines that clutter eBay

a lot of these are CVT powered and where aimed for Sans permis market, so have a lot of restrictions because of that with a top speed of 28Mph or so

(in EU law they are technically classed as Quadracycles rather then cars)
