That really is overpriced crap. The seller even lists it as a P6B which it can't be on an F reg. The doors, glass bumpers and badges are P6B and the only correct bit is the dash and the bonnet. 10 grand for a bitsa with that horrid engine bay is taking the piss. I am sure there will be some fool that will get told it's a good investment and pay the money though.

The P6b was introduced in April 1968, so very early examples are F reg.

Correct are the dashboard, the bonnet, the grille, the front valance and the bumpers.

Everything else is Series 2, including doors, bumpers, trim, seats, the tinted glass, badging (which is an eclectic mix of Series 1 and 2), hubcaps, vinyl roof and sail panels, making it terribly upcycled. If the car really is what it is claimed to be, which would be very easy to authenticate with a closer look at the base unit, it'd require a full restoration.

Originality of motor vehicles has been tested in the UK High Court. This is an interesting if long read:

An interesting decision; however it would not be fair not to mention that Stanley Mann successfully appealed the decision.

Does this claim to be an H5 ? The link doesn't work on my iPad.

I'll wait for our resident Bavarian lickers to properly pull it apart, but my guess is ,it's an just eBay sticker. I've never seen a 528i of any sort with those little Lux crosspokes, but I suppose French specs could be different, as for chrome window frames and shadow lights, sacre bleu. The plastic addenda doesn't look very Hartge either.
