RobT Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 He is a monumental pain in the fucking arse. I tried to buy a fuel sender off him for the Colt when I had it, and it was weeks, if not months of back and forth, then he "had someone else interested" and the price magically doubled so I told him to fuck off.LoLage. It's that knobber eh? Life's too short to be dealing with people like that. BorniteIdentity 1
Schaefft Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 https://www.gumtree.com/p/volvo/volvo-c70-2.5-turbo-coupe/1284946795 I'm tempted by this. How come they're so inexpensive? Its not the T5, thats why. The shitty presentation of the ad doesn't help either. Roostybroon 1
Junkman Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Sold already. E32 V12 is twice as desirable as the lesser engines. Steering control bushes are stronger than those on lesser-engined E32s; they have to be to carry the weight of the balls of the owner.I used the same bushes on my old E24 despite it wasn't necessary. FTFY When I had mine a full replacement exhaust was something daft like £2K. Another reason for not replacing it.

bub2006 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I didn't think any R8 got an airbag (except perhaps the coupes & tourers with the R3 dash after the rest of the range had been replaced by the R3 & HHR).They should have on a late L or early M. I had an L plate 214 and 414 and an m plate 214 breaker. The 214s both had airbag wheels. Said SRS in tiny letters at bottom of wheel what lit up. My L plate 414 had the same wheel as that one so no airbag. It's looking like that N reg had an earlier wheel or airbags were optional.

BeEP Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 They should have on a late L or early M. I asked my Rover expert friend about this on Sunday, who conveniently has pretty much every Rover brochure from the 80s and 90s. This confirms that for the bizarrely named "1994 and a half model year" (ie pretty much M reg onward) SLi spec and higher had standard driver's airbag. The SEi, although a nice spec, was based on the Si and hence an airbag was only ever an option, so the silver one further up this thread probably does have the correct wheel. I stand corrected on my previous beliefs though; evey day's a school day.
flat4alfa Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Which is why my 420 SLi on a Feb 94 has no airbag wheel Very tempted to fit a Quartic Allegro now, after that Maestro on previous page. Also have pair of Allegro VP rear PLAH picnic tables. Should I cut the leather seats up for them I wonder? The veneer does match the dashboard veneer.

Conrad D. Conelrad Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Is my assumption correct that this is a Cat A? It's a Cat B. Can be broken for parts but not returned to the road. It was already a Cat D for mild rear end damage in 2011. Looks like it was a nice car though, here's a photo of it pre-accident.
