'U OK HUN?'

Yeah, bad news though, man. You're going to have to rescind the prize you gave  to Dr Auchtermuchty Fuckburgeron  for discovering a cure for heart disease, Captain fucking obvious here has found you can make a brew and sleep in a caravan.

Looking at where he's had it serviced, the car must have cost him ten times what he's asking.

What keeps me away from watchlisting it is that I'm afraid that despite its looks, it might have Japanese suspension.

need a bit of tlc

That's a funny way to spell coup de grâce. In fact it's only up the road from me so maybe I'll go give it one.

Edit:

Offside Direction indicators flashing less than 60 times a minute (1.4.A.2g)

First time I've seen that, must have been pretty tedious to work out (unless it was like three time in a minute). I googled it and saw a fail on another car for indicators flashing more than 120 time in a minute.

What would cause an issue like this?

Knackered flasher relay or (more likely on a Robin Reliant) dodgy earth.  Easily remedied with an electronic relay, available for a few quid off eBay.

Dodgy earths a common problem on them? It feels like every time I've ever looked at the MOT history on a Reliant they've been plagued with fails for electrics (mainly lights it seems) not working.

Provided 'one' involves a car crusher or a jet wash and a coat of paint, fill your boots. The vendor deserves poked in the eye with a sharp stick just for the 'Robin Reliant'.

Yep - tends to be the case with fibreglass cars as you can't earth the lights through the body like you normally would.  Metrocabs are a pain in the arse for it as well.

I had a 1992 Corvette LT1 in Polo Green from 2007-12, 'twas a fab toy with 300bhp and 1400kg that I bought and sold it for pretty much the same price as this. With loud S/S exhausts I suspect mine was a bit more uncouth though. 2/10 as a daily car, 11/10 as a toy.
