eBay tat volume 3.

HHR Rover 400s seem to have become very thin on the ground of late, lots of 45s on eBay but very few of the earlier (and nicer) Civic-based 400s.  I reckon I'll end up with one before the year's out, I loved my Dad's company car 416Si, probably partly because I learned to drive in it.  It's harder still to find one that's an actual colour and not silver or black, this does look alright though and has the essential posher seats.

If you take your Carina E licking seriously (and you should) here's my choice of what's currently on offer;

Of course, for the top 1%, i mean the real champions, there can be no other choice than tradecarview;

- I once saw an imported Corona for sale on ebay and nearly lost all control. Alas, all the fun import trim like the full-width rear lights and front bumber were very badly damaged - the whole car was a mess.

He's already engine raped it by the look of it.

So it has :( I just skimmed over it and read the 'engine still in car', and assumed it was sold complete. I blame the stupid font they used. Such a shame, given how nice the car looked.

Base-spec 213, how rare must these be now?  Also doesn't look that bad rot-wise but we know of course with these that looks aren't everything.

I can't see a 30 year old 1.3 Rover being a good track car, either, but what do I know?  Maybe Eddy should get this one and use Hyacinth as a parts donor to restore it.
