Boring advice bit

How to work out obscured reg numbers on eBay

Only works if the seller has recorded the reg number in the sale.

On the sale page, scroll down to this and click Get the Vehicle Status Report link

On the page that comes up go up to the browser bar - the highlighted bit needs copying (after the vrm= and before the first percentage sign)

Go to https://www.base64decode.org/

Paste in the bit from above and click decode - reg is shat out t'other end

MOT Ran Out On The 3rd June 2017, so just, not been for another MOT, Just not got the time at the moment, sure it will make good again for someone who has the time

Got the time, just not the inclination nor motivation mate, specially after reading this lot from last yr's effort:

  • Advisory notice item(s)
Nearside Front Direction indicator slightly discoloured (1.4.A.2f)
Offside Front Direction indicator slightly discoloured (1.4.A.2f)
Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2)
Offside Track rod end ball joint has slight play (2.2.B.1f)
shows general under body in service corrosion
Nearside Rear Shock absorber has a light misting of oil (2.7.3)
Nearside Front Tyre worn close to the legal limit limit of wear (4.1.E.1)
Front brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened offside/nearside (3.5.1i)
Rear brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened (3.5.1i)
Brake pipe slightly corroded generally all (3.6.B.2c)
Front Brake hose has slight corrosion to ferrules offside and nearside (3.6.B.4e)

    £175 is too much mate

What PCD do these Corsas have for the wheel bolts? Those are old shape Suzuki Swift alloys and they have some weird PCD like 113.4x4

Him again! I've just looked at his stuff for sale, and he has a traction I'd like- at about half what he's selling it at!

Self delusion

According to seller a mk1 granda.

My granda never looked like that thank god. Grandma wouldn't have put up with it.
