I have a friend (no genuinely) who would be getting more excited about the high end Betamax player.....

I've just spent all morning reading this thread instead of doing actual work.

Wow what a community we have on here. I'm loving the chod Spotage and the whole spirit of adventure.

I don't want to get up and replicate this in anyway but to read about it is great.

Enjoy the rest and keep telling the story as you go.

It does sound more interesting than a dyane.

Having stopped at Saabnut's place last year for the Le Mans classic I know our intrepid cyclist will soon find some amazing spots as the whole area is chod central.

Yes, Dyane owners have feelings too. Well, so I’m led to believe anyway.

Proud of it in this case :D

Your 15 thousandth post Hooli!

The 11th most prolific poster of ever. Vulg/Beko are in Hooli's sights ;-)

Back on topic - glad to see the pick-up went really smoothly! No snow in Le Mans then?

This cottage. Where was it exactly?

Near Butterleigh - the deceased owner was called Vladimir and had bought one of the Dyanes new! RIP (both Vlad and Betamax). Sorry for topic drift...

I've been out for a potter on the bicycle and mined some of the vast spotting riches in this fabulous part of rural France.

I'd guess this is C25 based, but it could be a Talento or summat. Whatever it is, it's ace.

The French will insist they have impeccable taste. PT Cruisers say otherwise.

For Mrs6C, the C15 count is now up to eleven in two days, still no Visas yet though.

In fact after not seeing a single C15 from setting off the other month until arriving here, they're now following me. This was the view out of my bedroom window when I awoke this morning.

Thanks for the offers of posting stuff over here but I reckon I've got pretty much everything I need for the moment.

Bucketeer, I have no idea where you are but I have access to a cottage (stone tent really) near Etouars, 24360.

If you wanted to stop/stay there on your way to somewhere, I can sort it out.

Edit - I've done some detective work based on your last post, I think it might be due south of you?

Look! Street View chod at your current location.

I'd be absolutely terrified of getting bummed in the night

That would keep you warm though.

And you're right, Etouars is due South and pretty much the exact direction I'll be heading when I leave here.

I see you found the old garage with the CX and DS it was too overgrown in the summer to work out what was there.

Have you noticed how the French are loyal to a particular maker? You will see several, Peugeot’s, Citroen’s or renaults on a drive, but never a mix.

That NL Peugeot 404 looks nice though.

Despite the snow, most of Europeland still manages to function to a degree. An inch of snow here and it is a national emergency.

It just makes me giggle.

Good call on the Saabnut/Bucketeer collection thread. Wise move methinks.

Does it have Betamax?

BTW it may look like I'm trying to solve a difficult mathematical equation or having a troublesome visit to the lavatory or summat but that is my relaxed face.
