I’m assuming it doesn’t cost more than a Boxster S for insurance :D

Probably not when applying with your name and postcode. Using mine seems to double everything for some reason.

I might have undersold it, it's a great car with easily another 100000 miles in it but I just need it gone so I don't need to keep another car taxed and insured!

You should try with a Liverpool postcode.

I'm so glad Kiltox is snapping this up to be fair otherwise it would likely have been making its way towards me as well.

I to have had both eGt 4 door in green.GT 4 door in red..great cars. I bought the GT to replace the eGT

I had an eZX! Now there’s a rare bird. Even then.

Bought and subsequently engine raped to replace the GA16DE in my P11 Si.

Great cars. Rust was never a concern or passing thought, during my ownership days.

I still have a brand new OEM front and rear panel for one of these, new OEM wings (somewhere...) and new OEM windscreen trims in the loft.

I had an eZX 4 door. Best car I had by miles. H303 CNS. Later had a 5 door eGT and it wasn’t as good - didn’t feel as planted as the saloon somehow and a bit strangled due to the cat and other emissions shite that were absent on the eZX

What oil does this want / has it had?

National want to put 5w30 synthetic in it (for a reasonable price) but it seems a bit out of character for the age.

Posted

They are fine on 10W40 semi synth.

Well bought, love Primeras. Had a P10 SGX for 18 months before it dissolved into nothing.

I can share pictures if wanted, they're hilarious. My dad was sat in the back once and said he could feel the back end of the car flexing

I just used 10w40 semi syn

That’s what I expected - I’d even worry it would start to burn 5/30 at that age and mileage

The engines in these are amazing. I loved mine and marvelled at the engine every time I went out in it! 35mpg average as well. Perhaps the ultimate 2-litre beater.

Maybe I'm driving it wrong.  It doesn't seem that amazing to me.... although I suppose it wouldn't compared with a Boxster S

It's a great thing to smoke around in though!  Feels solid and dependable (watch it break down now :D)
