Sorry I kept calling you the wrong thing Shitpeaswilsonjimbell.

There is no wrong thing. Whatever you say will more than likely by my name at some point.

Snapsnots then.

This little Sunny was cracking.

I was really very excited when I spotted Schaefft's Lincoln.  It is a fabulous looking thing, deliciously weird.

This was a good meet.  I'm very glad I had time for it.  Good to put faces to names too, I don't make any promises about remembering them or getting them right.

I could have happily stayed later but it turns out my headlights are aligned to point at the front number plate so I really need to get that sorted out.  Seem to have developed a slight misfire (uh oh) and the tensioner pulley bearing is pretty frighteningly loud at any speed above 60mph, so I have things to sort.  Still, it was nice to get out the house and I only collected one seagull poop, unlike the poor little very tidy BALENO.

Ah yes, I left the bucket and wash mitt by the door thus afternoon and washed the legacy before getting the zombie out.

Next time near some nice roads, not some pooey birds?

Thanks everyone for coming, I had such a good time this evening, about 33242% better than the car show in town I went to earlier in the day! Cannot wait for the next one in the area!

This looks great, feeling slight sadness/regret I missed it.

*Crosses fingers for another northern meet soon*

I had a great time tonight and would 100% be up for more such events. I don't think I got a chance to talk to quite everyone so apologies if I missed you. I also didn't get any chips so that needs to be remedied.

Loving the photos BTW.

Bristol friend: *picture of Princess I hadn't seen* "Famous"

So there you have it.  In Bristol at least, Dollywobbler is famous and if your car has appeared on his feed, your car is too.

Cheers for the good night and the chance to meet the people and fine motors behind the internet images, even if I didn't get to talk to all as i was late due to my incompetence....  I may man up and go one on one with a herring gull over my tea next time.

Don't worry about names Vulg. I'm still unsure of names of some folk I was chatting to last night! All part of the fun.

I had a cracking drive out after hugging the coast all the way down, arrived after 90 odd miles and it was a lovely evening meeting people I've only ever seen in written print on a screen,

Great venue people cars chat food and sticker thanks barrywilsonx2jimbell for organising.

Took plenty pics and I even remembered to take them holding the phone the right way but unfortunately they still load sideways post-3747-0-34977300-1534061244_thumb.jpg

I hope you did all 90 miles in POWER and not ECONOMY mode man.

Thanks for coming down dude, your colt was so beautiful I didn't dare go near it with a not quite two year old in tow!

It was definitely worth the drive and if a car can't cope with a nearly two year old it would have been dead year's ago, you should have just stuck him in it.

It was nice to meet you wee one and all he's a proper firecracker full of energy.

Of course would have been rude not to on those roads. I would have given your silver thingy a race but after seeing the size of your battery i thought you had an unfair advantage.

We had a young man with a huge stick and a bicycle to do that for us.

Yeah it was hard to arrange security at short notice, but he was cheap and effective.

He evidently supplied his own mind altering substances of choice too. Winner all round I'd say.

Strongly suspect he was a dog in a man suit.

He was VERY proud of it mind. And he did not mind the world knowing he had achieved a big stick.

Oh hey, this was six months ago. Are we doing another?
