Can't understand why they sold the auto mk2 RS2000 that was built for Henry ford the 2nd??

 

 

Was that automatic RS2000 in Roman bronze with a beige leather interior?

I have a couple of pics of one like that but didn't realise it may have been the Henry Ford 2 car.

 

(It may be an RS2000 someone has built to their own spec, don't know).

Jamie Oliver used the Capri on one of his shows. I came across them filming and when the cameras stopped he was ragging it around a gravel farmyard

with the director telling him to stop then asking one of the minions to check if there was any damage.

The last Cortina only gained its Crusader pinstripes fairly recently; it was bereft of stripes in the photos of it coming off the production line and I recall seeing in at Gaydon in 2006 without them, with only 300 miles on the clock *wag*
