Mitsubishi Lancer 2006, 62k, £750 ono Chard Somerset or Anybody fancy a roffle?

Title says it all really, bought to do a move, will be available in 2 weeks time. Has MOT till April 2019. Petrol manual, barely run in at 62,000 miles. It's not exciting but these were judged to be the least likely to have an expensive break down back in the day iirc. It's a lot of car with a lot of life left for the money.

Only bad point is it's had a scrape down the offside rear. The previous owner has fillered and primered but not painted.

It's the Equippe version, front and rear electric windows, electric mirrors, air conditioning etc

ETA, anybody fancy a roffle at £12 a ticket?

These are on my radar for a load shifter/tip runner when we get a new place. Pretty much the definition of white goods motoring :)

Forgot to add - and most important on a day like this - the air conditioning actually works! Lovely ice cool air to the face all day long  :)

I will take a random if this car goes to a raffle, as its fairly local to me.

My dad has a saloon version. He bought it in new 2008 for just under £8k as the new one was out and it was stupidly cheap compared to everything else he was looking at. He desperately wants another car but just can't justify buying something else as its so depressingly reliable and is worth peanuts. His recent argument for getting something else was he needed something to put the dog in the back of but his missus went and bought a friggin' Mokka so they just use that for the dog now and as such he's still got it.

To be fair I'm pretty sure someone's going to come along and buy it outright - it's seriously cheap for what it is.

These are great cars. I've got the sports version sitting on my two post lift while I completely overhaul the brakes.

You generally don't see many of them these days.

The engine is odd compared to the cars I've driven in the past. Red line RPM is very high and it sounds like a sports motorbike.

I quite agree ...

But if it does go to roffle ...

I'll be all excite.
