Tax free, MOT free and only 79 quid for a years insurance on a 3000mile policy.

Sorely tempted to dip my toe in this.

Have to talk to the gaffa

I was, of course, joking about the a-framing !

Having said that, the 66 has a proper differential (unlike earlier DAFs), so towing it (or testing it on brake rollers) won't automatically lead to disaster.

Early DAFs could be towed with no ill effects.

She said no. Apparently we want some new furniture. If she thinks I'm going with her to look at sofas she can fro.

You can sit pretty comfortably in a DAF, but you can't drive around in an IKEA sofa !

I'm really surprised it hasn't been snapped up yet...

Considering the average Autoshitter's car buying standards, I suspect it's too expensive and not broken enough !

Sadly 250 quid more than I have in theory, plus far away'ish thus requiring more funds to bring back up to supposed civilisation*.

Somebody, anybody, please buy this before I get paid at the end of the month otherwise I'm certain that I'll end up living in a Daf and surviving on value noodles and rain water. TIA

This is a bargain that is unlikely to be repeated! I'm surprised it's not sold. However I have noticed that this time of year, the classic car market dies down. I reckon because everyone has bought their summer car and/or project already.

It's a steal. And if anyone asks their woman before buying another car, you will never have any more cars.

Sadly it is £730 more than I have in theory and I'd have to bring it even further. Comparatively you're in a better position to buy it and therefore should.

I spent a very long time living on Tesco value noodles and will advise buying the curry ones rather than the chicken as it they at least taste of something.

i'm amazed that no one has snapped up this dutch beauty..... cos it just has to be my perfect* version of a daft variomatic!

if i had either some where to keep it, the money to pay for it, and some means of getting it home, then i'd have it.

even if i would then die a horrid, violent death at the hands of my beloved....

shame.
