inconsistant Posted May 1 Share Posted May 1 Wow you’ve been busy! Some of the older BMWs in the last few posts look so lovely and elegant, you can see why people used to aspire to them. The red Cav & 5 series back to back a few posts back really show the difference between what you/your Dad wanted vs ended up with in the early 80s. inconsistant Posted May 1 Share Posted May 1 My friend at Uni had 2 Ro80s, he was doing the best one up with his dad and the other was a running spares donor. When they had finished it I got to have a drive of it. Fantastic things, beautifully bonkers but well thought out. Probably the last era where there were cars that were significantly different from what else was about. Bit sad how it all ended for NSU but glad they exist!
