First of all it was time for a run to @scaryoldcortina's.  Dropped a sproglet off at school.

Got some fuel on the way

Was spotted by someone else.

Arrived in good time and sent a message to let him know.

Went for a walk

Ooh, I could walk home.

Eventually Scary found his phones and came along shortly after lunch.

Some of the cars around here are mint.

Some have already featured in my fleet and this thread.

Some look like they have been dragged from a hedge

And some need a tickle with the sparky stick.

Two neat little patches welded on, time for a test.

This brake pipe needs cleaning up a bit.  And there's some others.

This beautiful volcano is about as porous as it looks.

At some point just before the emissions test Andy noted some interesting* smell and we discovered the radiator fan seized up and smoking

Unplugged that quick and mid emissions test this happened.

Happily the test was nearly done so just held on for a moment and it passed.

 

Helpfully the car then flashed up it's temperature light.

 

Turned it off, finished the test, then let it cool down, topped it up and off home I head with a pass.  Woohoo!

An MOT pass and you've steam cleaned the engine bay!
