Where there's blame there's a claim.

3 X-Trail's,every other Nissan I have had has been a UK car.

Sward = expanse of short grass.

Falling on it sounds painful!

The navara has to be one of the few real lemons of ththe last 20 years . Terrible explody engine AND snappy chassis ! One we would put up with but both on one truck - no ta .

Not to mention the chocolate halfshafts.

Mind you the Navara based Pathfinder I had with the V6 engine neither snapped nor exploded. So there's nice.

More quality Renault input?

That could start a whole new debate.

For example, which was the biggest dive in quality, Laguna 1 to Laguna 2 or Primera 2 to Primera 3?

Renaults didn't become shit until Nissan got involved.

Nissan is a brand I've never considered since it was contaminated by the French...

I'm a southerner up here on Missionary work, trying to teach the poor uneducated ignorant local populace how to be English. I have to say, there has been little success so far.

For some unfathomable reason the Navra still seems to have a reasonable reputation among the check shirt pick up driving community.

A similar situation with Lancia in the 80s and they were a laughing stock.

^^^ you mean, like breweries selling pubs to each other to evade 'market share/cartel' pricing...

Same $hit beer, now, at same $hite price Nationwide... :(

I think Nissan were close to broke and the most interesting thing they had to offer (Z cars excepted) was the Note.

Dressing up Renaults as Nissans saved billions in development costs.

I've had a Renault Talisman and a Nissan Qashqai nearly back to back as hire cars recently.

I know which one I'd consider driving again, and it's not the one you can buy here..
