That Cortina is superb, the back is stoved-in like my Galant. I should buy it, bet it'll be too rich for my blood though.

Blimey, the Granada and the Anglia auctions both ended with no bids! (Granada £650 No Res, Anglia £395 No Res)The Capri is currently up at a healthy £720.Mark.

Persistent shiters! Sick of complaints from your neighbours about your stupid old bangers? Buy this V-reg car and irritate them further!

I have been in your casino Hirst, how come there are so many people with poorly-hidden earpieces and twitchy ankles playing at all the tables? I cant help thining theres something fishy going on.

Just like the beige E28s posted in the 'what were they thinking' thread, class. Though this one has swanky deluxe features including front fogs, rear spoiler and leccy mirrors (and no window winders, but then no window switches on the centre console either??? :? )

Mk2 Granny did indeed look nice for that money. Dig those Amerikanski town cars, too 8)

Imagine how much mystery and excitement one of these could add to your life.

Lots of dark alley coffee-swilling action interspersed with a bit of 'What's that creaking noise?' and 'that bleeding oil light's on again!' :D

That BEEMER looks great. I bet it could be back on the road in no time at all. It looks like the kind of thing that would get blown to bits or crushed by a flying Xantia in that Cobra 11 programme they get in Germany (or whatever its called)

They made Estafettes into the 89's Mr B.That ones only 3/4hr from St Malo. Brake pull is easily sorted- Renault Trafic cylinder is the same.If I hadn't already got an identical 'stretch'- I'd be tempted.

Don't worry about that place, it burnt down. I have a new casino now.

Here's a large envelope which contains my spent cinema ticket and therefore proves my innocence, I'll let you just take this, I trust this resolves the matter, goodnight officer!

Doesn't sound a bad idea for £250, looks pretty straight.

I don't usually pick on these wedding car adverts, but this one deserves special criticism because it's one of those where the car talks as if it is a living thing. Would you use a wedding car service from someone who pretends the car speaks and has feelings? If you do, you're a chump.

That broken-look Audi sold on eBay for a not-entirely-believeble £1900 or something, looks like it was a not-at-all-believeble price in fact.

£2475 now, that is the price of progress I'm afraid!

Mark.

That sold for about £1500 when it was on the bay, it's a very nice looking thing but he's wildly overpriced it, there just isn't the demand for Celestes or old Mitsubishis in general like there is any other old Japanese brand...

Please explain more. Where did these big yes shite looking BMWs come from of late? They're giving me the horn - there's nothing more tempting than a brand that is worshipped by all manner of twat being represented in Autoshite racing beige.Want

I like your thinking. I've had similar thoughts about Audis:

That's interesting, it's a full length high-roof with the last facelift, but it's only a 1.3! They were all 1.5 here by then, must be a French tax thing.

Starting to get fed up with mine, bloody rotbox. Bet you could make an absolute minter using a combination of mine and that one, though given the state of the front panel I wouldn't be surprised if there's some cunning Isopon-themed repairs in that one somewhere.

Mr Bol - Ami's and 2CVs can be A-framed but I think you need the right set up. To be honest, I've only A-framed 2CVs so I've no idea how you do it with other cars!

Don't know if It's of any interest to anyone but in my local rag's car supplement this morning there is a 1982 Renault 5 TL for sale, only done 29k, in red with mot until Oct 10 and tax until Mar 10 for £525.It has a Felixstowe area phone number, pm me for the number.

That 929 is lovely, luckily my passport expired years ago meaning I have a great excuse not to go to France to go get it.

Plus if I rang him up about it my side of the conversation would be along the lines of "Hello, Mazda 929, Great Britain, I am Hirst, I would like to buy some chips please, such is life, thank you".

"Sod going to Friday afternoon's French lesson, it's so boring! I'm going to skive off and go home to play on my Mega Drive. I'm in England, what use is French? It's not like there's any reason I'll ever need to go there!" - Hirst (circa 1995)
