There was a pukka Aussie one floating about in the last few years. Saw it at the Longbrudge Austin Centenery.

I remember seeing that in it's original purple at the VBOA show about 4 years back. It looked distinctly less rubbish then. :roll:

I've won a set of wheels on eBay. I asked the seller if he preferred Paypal or cash on collection, and if it would be OK to collect on Friday. Here is his answer:

That is grim, the City is the absolute bottom rung of the Metro range if I recall. It's not even the "X" where you get a rear wiper.

How not to buy a car:

Q: Alright mate, a couple of enquires about the BMW, you say its in good nick but it looks a bit shabby in the pictures, will you accept £350 for it for scrap? It is old. Does the full closure really work properly as there can be problems with it? I've got a buyer for the full closure system? Are the tyres any good mate as i have a buyer for those? Infact if i could come and have those bits off the car you can keep the rest ill give you good price mate. 31-Jan-09

A: Do you really think I will accept £350 for the car, even though bidding is up to £480. What do you think!!!!! It is not shabby, everything works fine including the full closure. Have had 2 people come and look at it and both are very interested. Thanks for your interest (not).
