Perodua Nippas aren't that bad! You could do a lot worse for a city car. Nice revvy engines, super lightweight, the build quality on them looks pretty good really. Interior is plastic and they look rubbish, but who cares! Would much rather have a Nippa than a base spec Corsa.I am betting in 10 years they will have the joint worst survival rate of any car ever in the UK, with zero on the road.

Probably on several things - the one that immediately springs to mind though is the Lancia Y10 (only cos I've had two of them).Speaking of the Rayton - the current high bidder is Dutch and wants me to take the car to Harwich for him.

He's just emailed me, actually, worried about how he's going to get the car into the country with no paperwork (erm, how about finding out about that before you bid? ). I told him to just drive it onto the ferry and off the other side - I've never been asked for a vehicle's registration documents when boarding or disembarking from a car ferry - and then sort out the paperwork when he gets it home. I don't know how registration works in the Netherlands though - is there an equivalent of a Q plate over there? If it was me I'd jsut carry on running it about on the Italian plates - a bit of a legal grey area, admittedly, but if the Poles and Lithuanians can get away with it, there's no reason why anyone else shouldn't.

Q-plate is basically a dumping ground for anything that doesn't meet the rules for normal age-related registrations, i.e. kit cars, homebuilt specials, cars built from bits of several other cars, etc. Pretty much anything, within reason, can be registered on a Q plate. Was the Rayton ever sold in the Netherlands then?
