Very nice MK3 Capri, an unusual 3.0S too. Local registration as a bonus

Looks a nice Capri that does, there’s loads of Capris left but very few that are any good or have been restored properly.

That's not listed on their web site.  Maybe it will turn up in a week or so. I do like an Aubergine Ford

I'd not seen any interior colour other than black in a MK1 before, looked good. Used to know a guy with a '69 in that colour with a Webasto roof, not many about that's for sure

Looks like it was sold within the trade, just going on the Transporter

Saw this in a pub car park today, looking like it had just been retrieved from a barn.

Let's hope it goes to a deserving new home. These 50's cars are getting rarer and often get in such a state they are only good for parts.

It does not look too bad but they are part aluminium on a wood frame - they can hide all kinds of horrors.

The Kermit green is the kind of colour a young student owner would have painted it in the 1970's - when it was their first £75 car 😁

Not aware it's for sale - though of  course it may end up online in due course. Would benefit from very careful inspection before purchase in any event.

Many of the difficult issues with these BSA Automotive cars were covered on his most excellent Lanchester tread.

Handsome old thing - a bright colour suits it IMHO - not so dowager dutchess as the darker hues.

There was a chap who lived in Brentwood in the 90s who had about a dozen of them dotted about. No idea what happened to him or his cars

Love the wonky headlights.

Yesterday was a shoot for a short film, and they put out an appeal for yellow cars. Quite an interesting, if long, day, not helped by trying to film on a public road while everyone stops to work out why there are 20 odd yellow cars in one place!

Those little red reflector suggest that might have come in from South Africa. Who ever wrapped it should be wrapped themselves and thrown in a canal.

I didn't clock the little reflector as I was trying to take sneaky photos. I've seen the front ones on imported Beetles and MK2 Escorts, one of those funny country specific quirks I suppose, like the horrible side marker lights on American spec VWs.

DVLA gave date of reg as 2024 so I reckon you're spot on

Where is that? Is that the official Harry Potter shop? It's ridiculous - they put the car in the shop to attract shoppers (called advertising) - and once inside tell the shoppers they can't take a photo 🙄 - shoppers who might then show their friends etc (called advertising).

No wonder retail is in such a state - it's run total by idiots.

And what are they going to do? Chuck people out of a shop? 🤣

Never mind the wrap - the numberplates are a crime too 😂

If you are going to have a Harry Potter car - doesn't it have to look like a Harry Potter car? 😂

No it was unofficial, can't remember exactly which street but one of the posh bits of London. Maybe Oxford Street

Ah ha. Probably why it's so ramshackle then. The usual West End tourist trap.

Oxford Street like a lot of British High streets is not as nice as it was.

I'm going to go against the grain here (soz, just caught up) I like the matt black Anglebox. Look better with period Dunlop alloys though.
