Mot April 18
6 recent new tyres
Recent parts fitted
Discs pads and caliper
Prop bearing
Alternator with twin batterys
Small winch
Led marker lights and tail lights
Led work lights
Back box
Oil and filter
Clear front indicators
Tracking needs done and can do with a windscreen seal
Had a lot of money spent over the last few years body works showing its age but to be expected for her age.
It has a full set of wheel straps so ready to put to work.

The main reason I'm selling is I cant drive it, well not over long distances anyway. The seating position really hurts my knee. After spending 4 hours driving it today I've realised it's just not for me. I would much rather pay someone to move cars for me instead of suffering driving the Transit. It's ok to drive if a little bit slow.

That's a tremendous building in the background.  Why is it so tall though?

I think it housed the winding gear when it was a working mine.

I would make the joke about MoT exemption*, but I'll leave it because it's unhelpful.

GLTWTS - WTF you eyeing up my unit for? :)

Also does it have ifs or a beam axle at the front ? Seems really early for a smiley unless that's a cherish transfer

The dash isn't smiley-ey either.  I think the 190s went over to IFS with the first facelift though.

We should crowdfund this........ no more car transport hassles. Sorted!

Smiley front was 1995.

I know - I served my apprenticeship on them !

Good idea. I'll take 100% and everyone else can jog on.

When are you and Barbara Cavland collecting it?

Here's an idea, everyone can crowdfund it and it can just live at my garage...

It currently needs a front wheel bearing which will be fitted this week. Would there be much interest in a roffle at £25 a go?

Yes.

This could well happen in a few weeks if it's still about. FOAD, what's it down as on the V5, does it say 'recovery' as thetaxrates are cheaper and the tunnel fees.

Just been offered a caravan and generator for it on Gumtree...

Better than a twix and a games consul is suppose.

Aren't you limited in use though, ie you can't use it legally to run one in as frag only for recovery of a stranded vehicle?

That's on the (joke) MOT exemption, which doesn't legitimately cover 3500 (or under) KG vehicles. I have feeling my insurance no longer cover recovery trucks though, so would have to have a new policy, then ensure that covers all aspects.
