ooooh proper v8!

I've had a few weeks in these as hire cars, always V6s though, which are a bit wheazy, but yes I do get why you'd want one, and it does look well in yellow.

Great, apart from those rear lights.

That is just lovely! Great colour for it too, stands out like a proper Mustang should. Best engine for it too.

We should get all the Autoshite yanks together for a US themed shitefest. There's a few on here now.

Chumblebumley in September?

Btw I love the Mustang II too. Dunno why, I guess it's just the underdog after following the original and being a bit of a let down. I'd gladly own one anyway.

Mind you I've got a bit of a thing for the Ford Pinto aswell so I must be a bit weird!

I believe I may have said something rather similar in Jodie's earlier thread?

I can see this working, it's pretty central.  Only 130 miles each way for Huggy!

Dan, it's part of a big Andrew Greenwood show at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire.  Billy usually sorts us out with tickets.  We just rock up calling ourselves a club, claim a club stand, and generally run riot.  Last year's attendees will tell you stories of pushing Huggy in and out of the judging arena!

Oh and Jodie?  I came very close to owning a Mustang II hatchback some years ago too!  BMA3M, it was, in piss-yellow (seriously, the only way to describe the colour!) with a 2.8V6.  I told the story recently in my Classic Car Buyer column.

Ahh, I remember seeing the pics from that now you mention it! Are you going this year in Huggy?

It'd probably bankrupt me taking the Mercury that far, though it does sound fun...

If we're going to have a themed Shitefest there, damn right I'm going!

We're not pushing you again. ;)

I like this, it looks powerful.

I imagine pushing the giant Cadillac Coupe de Ville is the one thing more painful than fuelling it on the 260 mile round trip. Still, worth it for how it looks and the way it glides!
