While we are on Porsches, a mate of mine has a 914 (not a REAL Porsche eh?) & I've always thought they look best from the back, but judge for yourself.

You are correct about the beauty thing and all that, but the title does say cars that look better from behind, they are truly a disgusting motor on a whole but the rear is definitely better than this

Post facelift Scorps with the oval in the centre of the grille actually looked quite fit from the front.

 

Still better from the back, though.

This front was such a disappointment after the early jelly mold Granadas and Scorpios,

I once owned a D reg 2.9 Ghia, loved it but as that was earlier in my life it got sold on for the next chod ,

Trouble is the 57 looks better from front and back!

The only real flaw with the front of the Scorpio is the grille is far too high.  Lowering the grille just a few inches would have improved the look significantly.  Actually, speaking of cars with front grilles that ruin the look of an otherwise smart design, the facelifted R8 should be in here.

The 1961 Comet is a bit meh from the front.  Fussy and forgettable. 

 

 

The rear by comparison is extrovert yet relatively simple.  All the better for being attached to an economy car so it didn't suffer the chrome excess of more expensive models.

Me too pal. Front and back. Don't mind fords but most of the time the styling is a bit boring. Scorpio defo not boring. Interestingly though autocorrect tried making defo into deformation!!!!
