Ferry booked. And yes, I'm determined it's not falling off the font page.

Are we hotelling on Thursday night?  If so, shall I book somewhere close by, as per?

Yup. Plenty of places abound around Dover.

Looks like it's just you and I then. Hang on, is Holbeck coming?

Nice to see you have your priorities sorted Bub ala anniversary.....lol😄

Yes I suppose really reading that makes it look an afterthought.... Well she us at work and I will more than likely be now too. Bit disappointed I can't make it but I know with my luck something will go tits up. Mot car first will find any issues.

Ramada booked.  Got a deal through the business, so we might as well treat ourselves.

Just out of interest, how much have you managed to get a room for at the Ramada? I just checked, it's a bit rich for me.

£75.

There are cheaper options, but we are old gits and we need our comfort*.  We like to keep the car close too!

* This said, on the Sweden trip we did spend the first night in the car between Hamburg and Lubeck...

No, I thought about it and even looked at my diary to see if I could hang around in France a bit longer as it is only a 5 day trip I am on.

Sorry guys, I'm gonna declare myself out. Partly on cost grounds, but mainly on logistics.

I still like the idea of an AS France trip in the future though.

Booze cruse ?

I think I'm doing it wrong.

When I do a booze cruse I go to places like this:

Shame you'll be in Calais and not Caen to bring me fine English ale :(

Can we come and visit next time?  I could do with some decent cider, unsalted butter, proper cheese, and marc.

I presume there must be hotels in your locale?

There are hotels but even better there is Mother.Frogchods complete with excessive food, wine and swimming pool..

No room here until renovation is complete. Plenty of hay in the barn though, oh and there's a very comfy sofa in my workshop.

Seriously though, if needed I could lob up a single bed in the atic.

Just need to avoid the wrath of Mrs.Frogchod.
