2002 MG ZR+ - Yellow AF - Leafy Herts

This isn't my car.  I'm sure many established shiters also get this: being well known for liking shit cars so being offered shit cars by people who own shit cars but no longer want to/are turning their lives around/are turning to the dark side.

Sketchy details are sketchy atm.

Yellow MG ZR+ on a 52 plate.  Unsure if it's trophy at this stage, pics are on the way.

WR52XLF for MOT history.  Checks out enough, might have had a little tickle backwards.

Vendor admits "Loud exhaust and few dinks".

V5 lost but dude is sound and I know him well enough to put this up on AS.

Locking wheel nuts MIA.

MOT until next month, will need CV joint.

He's offered it to me for £90.  Yep.  NINETY pounds.

Anyone keen?

LAWL.

Almost worth going for this instead of trying to get that bloody Civic on the road. GLWTS!

...where is it? Probably a stupid distance from Aberdeen, but even so...

Also, would anybody between Aberdeen and wherever this MG is like a Citroen Xantia HDi?

It's in Luton. Easy flight and easy drive. Easy jet.

Love it. Anyone want a S40 for 100 quid so I can buy this.

Must be the cheapest MG ever, fortunately its not near my doorstep.

GOD THAT IS A BARGAIN!

I could buy it, run it for two weeks and then sell on and still end up quids in afterwards.

We are truly being spoiled with all of the cheap cars on here at the moment.

Luton to Aberdeen in an MG banana with a 'loud' exhaust? Hmmmm.

You have to love this place, there's some absolute bargains including this one.

If I had a recovery truck I'd be skint now but would have the best yard ever!

This MG, the LDV and the Mondeo just now are all cracking value.

I should probably have bought this MG for me and flipped it, but there's an opportunity to do a good turn for a fellow AS member.  For this place to remain what it always was, you have to do what was always done.  Looking forward to seeing it enjoyed, as it was 100% bean cans within the fortnight.

Your place would have looked like a MG Rover dealer early 2000's

Surely this is ideal for Reg Bollox after his Fiesta commutershed turned out be the dull.

£90!!! I've spent more than that on dinner! Is this kind of thing any good for track day fun?

Purely for research I have booked a table at a local hostelry for tomorrow evening and will let you know if it costs more than the MG!

We were at lunch today and the bill for two was £113.90.

I know that sounds a bit too PistonHeads for our palette, but please bear in mind it was Watford.

You know how we look at old 70s Capri's and Escorts now up for sale @ eleventy billion pounds and say "I was offered one of those in the late 80s for £100"

Well that will be these cars in 2040 that appear on Ebay Bargains thread with MG scene tax for millions £££
