IIRC none are new, despite the selophane. Most are in perfectly useable condition, though.

Any use to anyone?

I was at a car boot a while back and there was a bloke selling a Renault 25 Haynes Manual for £4. Despite it being one of the largest attended events in South Yorkshire, I could have told him fact he had fuck all chance of selling it for £4. Or 40p for that matter.

You sound like you are in the same boat as me, I've about 50 copies of Haynes manuals for such popular stuff these days like Nissan Cherrys and Rover 800s.

I am happy to bin them, but would rather ask if any are of use to people, seeing as there is some right shite in there.

Sure thing, mate. They are just in the boot of the car, so no rush. Wanna sort something on Sunday or any time after?

No rush.

In a way I'm reluctant to bin mine, I just love the exploded diagrams and the knowledge that's in them. The ones sat in my workshop have become less a practical tome as much as a depiction of a bygone age of decokes and Saturday afternoon carburettor rebuilds to read through wistfully over a can.

Is the Astra and Belmont book for the mk2 or mk3? I'm staying in Durham at the moment so can pop round easily enough in my mk3 Astra.

Can I collect one day/night next week any day after Monday?

Aye. :)

If you don't get takers on here, eBay as a collection for a few quid, don't bin them. If you were closer I'd have some of those just because of the diagrams/content for once-common cars I remember as a kid.

Ha!... Carbs, you say....

I had to buy the '91 Corolla HBOL (no Carina) for my 'Explod[ing!] Diagram' of the carb... lol

Good luck from Geordieland :-P

Apologies folks, I forgot all about this thread (haven't used the Mondeo for a week and these manuals are in the boot).

I won't forget about the thread again. O77oh894six78ate if anyone wants to get in touch with me!

The P11 manual is a bit fragile, but that is because it used to be mine, so has seen some action.

You still in Durham CITW?

Here's the Astra ones:
