1995 BMW 318Ti Compact IT'S SOLD BRUV

That makes 13 raffle tickets (I'll have number 5) at £11 a go, or almost a quarter of required sales...

Posted

How does a raffle work here? Obvs (?) I need the money up front via Paypal....?

Posted

Yeah. Fill numbers. Send out pm with payment details (paypal or bank if you like) collect all money, then call the draw. Leave a gap for payment though. Some folk can be tardy.

I'll take one, recently sold my Compact after big issues with the engine.

Round two...

Not to be the tool (intentionally) but isn't the draw usually 59 numbers, or are you going for the old hat method so you can have the whole 60?

And isn't 60 at a tenner £600, but cash price is £650?

as said, not being a tool, seriously considering buying all 59 numbers at £10 each in a pre-raffle guaranteed win raffle-fix effort, just looking to clarify.

Does it matter?

Its traditionally drawn on the lottery bonus ball, if so number 60 gets a bit of a poor deal.

But if you're going to draw out of a hat or whatever then the number of tickets doesn't matter of course.

Posted

The bonus (ha!) of it being a bonus ball based draw is that we can all have a beer on a Saturday night and watch the excitement build up.

Oh, just me then?

Technoviolet *swoon!*

Wash your mouth out!

It's Daytona, far more vibrant and classy*

Daytona was only used as standard on the M5 E34 - these were hand built at the Motorsport factory at Garching where the Individual cars were painted and trimmed at eye watering cost. The car this interior came from was an Individual 318Ti in Daytona and I recreated it with this one.

This is a hand stitched Individual interior. I dread to think what this cost in 1994.

Semi trailing arm IRS - not as 'good' as the Z axle, but great when set up right.

That really is a lovely car. Roffle for the love of whatever deity you prefer.

Daytona was a standard list colour on the e36 m3 as well as late model e34s of all specs.

Incorrect.

It was Techno violet, colour code 299. Unless BMW printed their 1995 E34 brochure wrong....?

What does yours say?

Techno was the standard colour used on the E36 M3 as well although some 3.0 cars had it.

I say you need to do some better research.

My daytona e36 m3, my friends daytona e34 sport and my customers daytona 525tds all trump your 1995 brochure, unless you reckon that that leaflet accurately covers the entire 90s bmw range.

Don't make posts which such an air of authority when you are wrong.
