Is this to far to go for shite

I did a 440 mile trip to London to collect a 205 last weekend from near Edinburgh.

I was up near Fife a couple of weekends ago for a non-runner.

OP, that shit doesn't wash, here!

I'm not good on buses or trains for long trips or i would think about it

Maybe you could use one of these? Whack it in the boot once you've got to the car.

Depending on where in Devon it is you can fly either to Bristol as said above or to Exeter from Glasgow, I remember Skattrd flew from Exeter to collect the rubber band Volvo.

Not sure if the SVM have forgiven him yet for taking a vulva south of the border.

He needs to travel with someone/is scared of flying or something.

'Brave' indeed! :-)

Why even make a post if you're just going to say "I'm too scared of public transport"? The limiting factor isn't the distance, it's your own insecurities.

I went myself for the CR smarty arse, i don't like buses, trains or flying hence why i'll probably never go abroad again unless driving,  takes 2 to get a car

I'm texed a friend to see if he's up for it but has a disability in his left leg so might not manage the clutch

I'm only an amateur as Bexhill to Lancaster is the furthest I've gone for a motor which I think is about a 660 mile round trip.

Fife to Greenwich for an x1/9 that hadn't moved for 7 years.no mot or tax. Fife - Tewkesbury for a dodge challenger that hadn't done more than 20 miles in 1 journey in 20 years.fife- bristol for my first x1/9. All part of the fun :)

2 things.

If you are skint, then a car hundreds of miles away is not conducive to relieving that situation.

If you need your mate to drive you, then it is not this forum you need to ask if it's too far, but him.

I flew on one of those motherless good for nothing aeroplanes to Beirut once.

SABENA. Such A Bad Experience, Never Again. Thus I bought some shite there and drove it home.

It wasn't too far by such an extent, that I drove that heap to Vasteras in Sweden four weeks later.

So either beat that or stop trolling, ffs.

Ideally both.

Went to Paris by plane to pick up a Renault 14 and had to come home via train as it wouldn't start it turned out to be the rotor arm. The Renault dealer had it in its care, they couldn't get a rotor arm in France! Had it shipped anyway and got a rotor arm from eBay for a fiver, there were several. That rotor arm cost me around £600 in total!

Two things spring to mind.

New member..... Renault 20 - & suchlike?

If you have to ask that question here- it isn't going to happen.

Distance becomes academic, there is always another reason why you can't make it. Even terrorism.

Original Poster will now revert to crudeness before sloping off, never to be seen again ( or next school hols, under a 'new 'name.

I miss the early days of long time carefully vetted membership,
