Anybody want to take on this piece of shite? 1992 Renault diesel, runs sweet as a nut, but needs sills welding for test. Inside stripped out, ideal for a build your own camper/minibus project. Phone Jubilee motors on 01274 530833, ask for Danny!

Word is it's getting bridged Monday (he's got a buyer for the headlights)if noone takes it on. PM me any interest as I have the guy's mobile no. Don't tell him I said so, but I think he'd take £250 for it, or maybe even £200!

Pr

It's worth about £60 over the bridge....

Well he's going to take the engine out and sell it, the rest is getting bridged minus the headlights. Wish I could take it on, but absolutely brassic unfortunately. It is PURE shite though

Wasn't the Dingles' van a Trafic?

[/pedant]

God knows, but everyone gets the joke :)

Except me - no idea.  Then again, not in the market for this - although it's a fine looking piece of kit, that I would love under different circumstances.

I remember my one only too well - gutless yet deafeningly loud engine, agricultural gearbox, monstrously heavy steering and clutch that Charles Atlas on performance enhancing drugs would have struggled with... we had some brilliant holidays in it though, happy days indeed  :-D

It looks like an escape pod from Red Dwarf or something. How bad is the welding?

I'm sure a place up here used to get called dinglton, I think it was to house people with special needs or as some used to call them window lickers, (I never got that one either) so is it because it's wheelchair access bus ?

My mate had a white panel van one of these - it was shorter though, E -reg.  I tried to buy it off him, but he insisted on scrapping it.  It was 2.0 pez - a pretty good van all round. loads of space, low floor Gr32 for loading.
