Ghosty Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 What is that bumper off of thats lying under the little white Fiat?Either a Breadvan or a Mk12 Golf. edit: assuming the obscured numberplate letter is L, Cartell says it's a Jetta.
Spottedlaurel Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 The big red Datsun estate is a 260C, should look like this: 1974/75 Datsun 260C estate (230) by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr Supernaut and nisfan 2

anonymous user Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Looking at this, I like to imagine that at some point the rot got so bad that while the inner frame and bootlock held, the sprung hinge finally shot the outer skin of the bootlid into the air. ruffgeezer Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I think the first pic is a Riley RM of some description;

Eddie Honda Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 48-51 Vauxhalls have one piece windscreen. Wyvern 4 cyl, Velox 6 cyl. Scrap car's so knackered I could be wrong though. Flat screen, roof shape, detail below C-pillar, detail below A-pillar and door handle positions compare well. And this is supposed to be a 1949 Velox Six air engine bay: So the air filter compares well too as does the bonnet striker panel. JeeExEll and NorfolkNWeigh 2
Guest Hooli Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Now that's a proper scrap yard! I reckon those continas would sell for several hundreds on ebay as 'barn finds'. Wheel a new car under the ID plate & it'll be MOT'd in a month.

vulgalour Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 The pictures where there's no outer skin on the boot lids with just the hinges sticking up are great, I like to imagine that when the rust finally got enough the outer skin was just jettisoned across the yard by the boot springs.
