Alas, after an enjoyable meal in the most incompetent pub I've been in for quite a while (though the hefty discount was nice!) I had to bolt back to Wales because caravan sellage. I look forward to the report on auction action.

Last i knew he was eyeing up some perodua at cannock.

Following bacon, auction-related excitement and Lord Sterling nearly buying some old chod due to over-enthusiastic conversational arm movements, a luverly time was had at the Cosford Air Museum.  Doubtless, embarrassing photographic evidence will emerge quite soon.

 

The intention was to visit a classic car dealer in Brewood first, but a total convoy failure scenario was achieved.  Sorry Junkman/Mr Conelrad.

 

Scotoshite is now heading north once more.

Remember the bloke revving the nuts off of a silver Vectra C estate in the car park?

 

It obviously didn't do the engine/turbo much good, as it was observed having a major FTP on the A5 towards Tamworth. There was so much smoke and liquids on the road initially it looked like an accident scene from afar!

 

Good to see everyone and the National Motorcycle Museum was worth a trip too.

Great to see everyone today. It's a shame we lost half the crew, I nearly got lost myself until I saw FPB7 heading the other way and just followed him only for me to get too enthusiastic amd miss the Cosford junction.

 

Hopefully we'll visit the classic car dealership in Brewood next meet up.

It's still a mystery to me how an entire group of people can just go missing.

Anyway, after scoping out said dealership, we made it home in fairly one piece.

the Auctions reminded me of an old one up at Shotts here- ye could tell it was quality goods.

 

Breakfast was a treat but the highlight of the day was the p6 of Junkmans- GLORIOUS!

The Volvo is still at the Volvo whisperer getting MoT work and various other bits and bobs. Also been using the Golf much more anyways 'cos of the amount of money I have been spending elsewhere, it was nice to do Cannock and back on 2/3 of a tank.
