Despite stealing comfy dry garage space from the Senator, this ungrateful French git threw a wobbly earlier and went mental. Alarm was going and door locks constantly plipping up and down. It's been sat for over two weeks so I'm just hoping the shock of asking it to do something set it off. Either way I've connected it up to the CTEK in case the battery has drained. This is why I don't normally like cars with alarms or immobilisers, potential pains in the butt.

Tip with these; just lock them with the key and not the remote, that way you don't activate the alarm at all.  Saves a lot of alarm peeping/headlamp flashing.

My tip is to remove the alarm horn!

There's more! Each wheel has a Peugeot decal on it, and the gearshift has an enamel badge stuck on the top. Plus there's a high level brake light that's mounted on a massive black box, like something you'd get out of a 1989 car accessories brochure or something. So it's giffered to the max basically!

Battery is now fully charged and it started fine last night, so must have been a discharged battery causing the alarm wobbly.  I did wonder whether to disconnect it, but after a few minutes staring at the engine bay I went indoors instead.
