So ken wanted less cars. Sold two and bought three. What's not to understand.

Yeah, see he got it ^^

Perfectly logical (meh).

It really wasn't intentional. Mostly.

I understand mate I'll come up show you soon. I think its a veg drinker too

Posted

According to JohnK it does indeed slurp veg.

So, how much diesel juice was consumed?

Posted

A quarter of a tank in 175 mile which is approx 15 litres

Posted

If it's the same engine as my boring check my sig ... 57mpg average over 60k+ miles, and people wonder why I like VAG dizzles.

Posted

I think mines earlier. This is the 90bhp ahu engine

Posted

So, a tad over 54mpg. Not bad at all.

I had one with the same engine a few years ago. Wasn't mega happy at starting on 100%, more like 70 or so to keep it sweet.

Not at all. Very very impressed. Not used to a quiet diesel engine

I am unsure with what to do for best!

Purplebargeken - has Rover 214

CleonFonte - missing in action

Bub2006 - has Audi

Correct?  I'm still utterly baffled by what's happening in this thread.

Posted

Cleon fonte no longer missing and more than likely in bed while I was perched on a r8 dashboard! Apart from that all correct. Bar the Audi was swapped for another of kens cars other day and ken didn't even sit in it till he rescued me with a blowout eaeluer

Bub, in summer I would run my boring on upto about 90% veg and winter 50/50.

It would run on 100% in summer but wasn't at it's happiest.

Welcome to A4 ownership - it shouldn't be nearly as dramatic as the collection's been.

^^ Thank christ for that.

Urge to buy this back rising even though it doesn't fit me and I have no need for it and not really the spare cash to acquire it.  I miss this old bus but I know I wouldn't get on with it if I took it back again.  In the unlikely event that the bridge looms, call me and I'll be foolish and sentimental and take it off you for whatever you'd get bridging it.  Then wonder wtf I'm going to do with it.

So GLWTS.

Do you know what caused the problem? If you are lucky it's just a puncture.

hankook tyres

wait... why is my post in this thread and not the Xantia thread?  That's... odd.

I don't *want* it, I certainly can't afford the asking... but I could take it away for scrap money, whatever that is right now.
