It'll be like that awful program about people on benefits or any other modern show about "real people"  The producer goes in with some bias, the editor makes sure the bits shown reinforce that bias and the core audience come out thinking "yes, I knew I was right about those horrible people with their horrible ways"

This. It's also a massive piss-take as they try to establish a new platform by getting folk to write/video for it for free. Anywhere that offers someone the opportunity to 'showcase' what they can do is effectively saying that they'll be making a profit while you get f*ck all. You see this a lot in the world of music, and sadly in publishing too.

I do take issue with Hammonds comment that there's nowhere for cast people on the web, coz there are lots of places depending on your passions. A one place fits all isn't gonna work.
