LHM £3 per litre Halfords Dunfermline

Just thought I would post this up as it may be of use, I was in Halfords Dunfermline and in the reduced section they had a load of bottles of their own brand LHM for £3 a bottle.

Worth mentioning this generic LHM is available on ebay for £4 a litre including delivery. Making special trips to save a fiver on five litres could easily cost that in fuel alone... obviously if you're passing, well worth it.

Almost worth buying it for the day I buy another HP Heap. Though I have been known to use engine oil in a shitter with a leaky octopus.

 

Has to be mineral though. No synthetic or veg.

Usually cheap at tractor places too cos loads use lhm ( esp new Hollands) instead of brake fluid

Just out of interest , what vehicles that use lhm did I miss ? I expect there is a few random green blooded marques

Peugeot 405 4x4 uses LHM for the self leveling rear end.

JCB Fastracs use a hydropneumatic-style suspension but I don't know if they use LHM.

Fastrac will use its hydraulic oil supply that feeds the steering / rear links etc I would assume

Gutted. Im left handed and could do with some rectal relief  Was on my way to collect.

My BMW now has more LHM in it than a certain hairy shiters Citroen. There was 7 bottles left at lunchtime after I left.
