1996 Peugeot 306 Dturbo - XUD CONTENT!

This is literally a gathering interest post, just to let people know it'll be available in a few weeks.

I purchased this car to get us out of a sticky situation.. situation de-stickied sooner than I thought so I'm going to have some fun with it and then let it go.

1996 1.9 DTurbo

Bianca white

188K, I believe the shell is on 140-something.

XUD with Bosch pump, gov modded, stage 1 tuned

GT15

Stainless steel exhaust with no cat

Sub/Amp wired in with a decent wiring kit under the carpets

Ph3 parcel shelf

Fake OMP steering wheel with snap off boss (I have original wheel too)

Tow strap

Green/Blue Cyclones, front tyres are worn on outer edges

GTI6 rear beam

Lowered 40mm all round

Goodrich lines

GTI6 front ARB

Recent rear beam mounts

Recent front brake pads

Rain X'd all round (Oo-err)

PH2 interior

MOT'd until 19th September 2016

Loads of paperwork, old MOT's etc.

Negative points:

Bodywork isn't amazing, bonnet has a double of tiny dents (Look to be from inside pushed out if that makes sense)

Tiny amount of rust on roof, literally a couple of 10p piece size bubbles but it's more obvious with the car being white

Couple of scuffs on the bumpers

Sunroof occasionally leaks slightly, no obvious pattern.. sometimes it can pour & it's fine, other times it drips down the A pillar (Very small amount!)

Under hard acceleration there is a slight knocking noise from a driveshaft I believe.

Heated rear screen doesn't work (Connection has come off, needs soldering)

Ph2 door cards but drivers window switch is still Ph1 - not my doing

Missing the rear square cubby hole from centre console

Please don't expect a mint car, it looks better in the photos in all honesty but is still a great looking car.

It goes very well, no clutch slip or anything of the sort. Starts first time even after being left sat for days at a time. Doesn't smoke too much even though it's been stage 1'd.

I've driven 10+ 306's and this is by far the nicest to drive, feels tight, brakes are great (Not sure if upgraded?) and it runs nicely. Pretty sure the buyer won't be disappointed!

Located in Norfolk, I can supply the car with as much brand new veg oil as wanted (Min order 100ltrs at 40ppl) it runs straight on veg and still starts and runs lovely.

I'm not interested in a profit, I paid £450 for it and want this back. No offers.

If you want the fake OMP wheel/boss etc £50 extra

No timewasters, I just want a nice easy sale if I had the space I'd be keeping it as it's only going to appreciate now being a rare colour and Ph1.

In fact writing this I'm not sure I even want to sell it but I just want to put feelers out and in all honesty it needs to go as there's just no room once Amber gets her new car.

Story is my mrs' Mini broke down and we thought wasn't worth repairing... I have managed to fix it cheaply so it's going in for its MOT on 14th and then will be sold.. this will then be available as I'll have my car back (Currently leant to her as she travels further so needs the newer/comfier/cruising car) - Likely to be available to collect in 4 weeks time I imagine. No promises.

Makes me miss my old diablo red ph1 D turbo 306. Worth every single penny of what you're asking - don't want to r**fle it, do you?! ;)

If I could get £450 then by all means, any additional could be given to charity. I'll consider it if I don't get much interest.

Cheers

Where about are you?

Norfolk, pretty much half way between Kings Lynn & Norwich.

Sorry to hear that.

(!)

Good luck nonetheless.  My Toyota steadfastily refuses to do anything wrong, but when it does I am definitel buying on of these DTs.  They're a hoot.

The earlier 3 dr 306's looked great when they came out and they still look great now.

Sad to see this go at 8am this morning, I had so many people wanting it but I'm true to my word and the first person who messaged about it travelled up from Dorset to Norfolk through the night, stuck the asking price in my hand and left a very lucky person.

It's gone to another enthusiast who has some good plans for it, really didn't want to sell this but just didn't have the room. Gutted as its only been half an hour & im regretting it already.

Not to worry, it's gone.

Thanks to all those who had shown interest.
