 Blimey that TR7's a bit crispy isn't it?! Though the yellow Spitfire doesn't look much better... Where are they?

Wow, the FSO's an estate isn't it? How rotten is it under all that shite? I'd quite like one of those...

The kitcar is a spartan, could by Cortina or Marina (I think) underneath. As an aside thats how I will live come lottery day 8)

FSO Wagon!!!!!!!Surely almost extinct in the wild. I like the utter spartan appeal of those '125p' jobbies. Better than the jizzed up efforts they tried to punt later.

Those FSO 125p cars were great! My daughter had a saloon for a few years & received loads of admiring glances! If that's an estate it must be one of the last ones around. They were crude, boxy and had the aerodymanics of a wardrobe, but they would swallow HUGE amounts of stuff. Oh, and they had discs brakes all round... Andrew353w

Never seen a rusty 944 before

Nor me, well not as bad as that, given the paint fade on that and the front panel, I recon its had a shunt and as a result had a spurious second hand wing fitted, hence the rust...
Posted

I think 944's were galvanised, could be a dodgy wing as Volksy says. Spares only I would thought, given you can get an example a lot better than that (and with Mot) for less than a grand now.Ultimate bargain at the moment is a 928, been having ideas about one of them for a while...

Now if I get my models code correct that's a 230 Cedric, right? What a lovely motor. Originally from Leicester by the reg. number.

I swear I used to service that Trafic in Lincoln 10 or so years ago...............No wonder it's just sat there....I agree on the FSO, best estate of it's time. I had the Pickup version, F68LTL, brush painted black! I was known locally as the Batmobile!

The 230-series Cedric is a 240C, rather than 260C like most were. I recall it coming to one of the old JAE’s at Billing some years ago, glad to see it’s still about and in good shape.

May I ask further info/price on the Mk1 Escort (Though heinous OSF YKT sticker twunterty suggests an inevitably ridiculous price, cash only m8, YKT violent stella fuelled thug etc)

Regret to inform details not taken-as no one I know has won the lottery recently

That Winnebago is pretty horrendous, it almost puts me off louvres.

Posted

I like the Winnebago, it's based on a Renault Trafic isn't it?

Posted

Those Winnebagos have always reminded me of the C15 for some reason, and i dont know why. That viva is class, there is a 305 under a tarp in old basing, it was fully showing until a few weeks ago, and it was covered back up.
