Rover - epic collection and repatriation thread!

Well, I have hankered after Rovers for a while and JohnK's green Rover is lovely. I'd also be tempted to add his silver one to the collection if it were not for this beauty:

One owner from new, mileage is a bit hefty but most of that was transportation.

Spares might be the problem but the Rover forums should be able to assist. Not sure how the insurance companies would list it.

I've started asking on Shipley about collection.

Luckily there is no terrorist threat involved and I have an up to date passport.

I'll take some more photos later but I can guarantee that the collection thread will be EPIC when it happens.

Is the astronaut included in the sale or is that extra?? ;)

what no offer to frame it back for him.

That's the sales person taking it for a test ride.

You'd never feel it on the back, almost like it was weightless.

That Rover's been to the moon but it's still very low mileage for its age.

To be fair to PBK, I reckon he'll get this back before the R20 arrives from French Franceland...

Highly likely.

This one might be a bit dusty but I am sure Vulg could sort it easy enough.

Rare, moon find, first owner was Louis Armstrong.

..... he added a horn.....
