RENAULT VEL SATIS FOR SALE - ULTIMATE IN LUXO BARGE SHITE

Hi all,

I am looking to move on my 2003 2.0L Turbo Petrol Vel Satis, due to needing the funds to bring over a 20 TX from France.

The good: Despite having 238,000 on the clock, it runs beautifully. Full beige leather  interior still in excellent condition. MOT till 05/16. All door pockets, cup holders and rear under seat storage operating like new. Fully electric and heated front seats still functioning fully. Icy cool and fully functional air conditioning.

The bad: Both rear tyre pressure sensors defective (who cares at £90 a time, just check them at the garage like normal folk). Stereo radio works, but has a jammed cd slot.

Also, it could do with a new set of coil pencils - it developed a misfire, and I changed 2 of them, which means it only has a very slight shudder under very hard acceleration. Front bumper has had a bump, its slightly bent. Rear bumper has a few dents and marks (which should T-cut out.) Also the rear drivers-side light perspex covers are cracked.

IT REALLY IS THE DEFINITION OF AUTOSHITE - OFFERS AROUND £500 PLEASE? IT IS AN IMMENSELY COMFORTABLE AND SWISH CAR. PLUS THE LUCKY BUYER WILL HAVE THE ADDED SATISFACTION OF KNOWING THEY HELPED FACILITATE THE ARRIVAL OF A RARE 20TX TO THESE SHORES :)

Looks like Glasgae/Edinburgh type buildings to me.

shit, that is only a coupe or 3 hours from home, so not quite far enough away.....

Wow. Well worth a shot at 500 quid and you can get it right up the anyone who says they're shit by showing them the mileage .

i would love this, but the domestic management won't go for it, i think....

as my leader and i have 6 cars and a motor bike already between us, i cannot see me been able to sneak another one in.

They are a bit like BA club class fare - only miles better. They get right under your knees and have lumbar support too!

For those that prefer to enjoy a motorway refreshment stop in the comfort of their own car, just press the Alderwood panel:post-20019-0-96171900-1447271620_thumb.jpg

And press the three buttons, to reveal 2 cup holders, milk and sugar

Or.............if you're really posh, clamber in the back, pretend you have a chauffeur, bring down the arm rest..........post-20019-0-75347500-1447271888_thumb.jpg

Et Viola!

A special addition - that be for the brats! Excellent place to store sweets/crisps under their seats "How many more miles????" "Look under your seat Harry!" Peace and quiet in a Vel Satis goes beyond a quiet engine and low road noise...........post-20019-0-96261300-1447273362_thumb.jpg

am trying my bestest to resist this.

i've even worked out an excuse plausible reason for buying it, and that is to stop me running the rover though all the salt ect over winter....

how much mot is on it, and how much is it to tax?

EDIT - i see it tested till 5-16 oops!!
