Milton Keynes meet up Nov or early Dec

Recommended Posts

I am 10 miles outside Milton Keynes and now for car season has slackened off any body fancy meeting up?

Maybe just a drink or a meal, weekday or weekend?

How about the Squirrel and Nut Westcroft?

Bit far for lunch for me, but have fun.

I doubt I'll be in a Lexus then but I'm not too far from MK and would attend a stand-around-some-shitters-and-discuss-other-shitters meet.

When I am home from holiday next week I will suggest a couple of dates and take it from there.

For a laugh you could have a vote as to which car I bring from the taxed cars I have at home?

It is not back back from the Alfa specialist yet, it's due an MOT 24th Nov and hopefully that will get done soon and you are welcome to give it a drive as long as you have your own 3rd party insurance at least, as mine will not cover you.

So that's 5 possibles, anybody else? Go on show yourselfs, I will not be taking your wrist watches as surety!

Do we go for weekend or weekday?

Happy with the Pub?

Weekend is best I'd say, but anywhere with a car park where we can stand around awkwardly looking at cars is fine by me.

Perfect location

Out in the sticks, not the centre MK

Pub with car park

Morrisons with massive overspill car park

KFC Pizza Hut McD in case you want to eat in car instead

Renault Dacia Mazda dealership to peruse the current offerings

WeBuyAnyCar have a kiosk to wind-up

I'd be up for this. Weekend is surely better for looking at chod in daylight but sadly I can't make the 22nd.

I can't really justify the trek so soon after trekking to the NEC. Shame as I could do with wallowing in shite. Especially after the shiny-fest of the NEC.

Go on then, I'm socially inept, don't have any roadworthy chod for fondling ( although I might be able to steal daughters 620) and subscribe to the Groucho Marx theory on club membership.

But the fact I live about 3 miles from Westcroft ,means I feel obliged to make the effort.

I'll probably lurk in the corner of the car park in something modern and decide whether to run away or join in on the day.

It is the great thing about this group anything goes, as long as you have the interest in the unloved cars.

(And can put up with me going on about Citroen Visas!)

We don't seem to have much interest in Meeting in MK, I am thinking that maybe we should give it a miss? What do you think?
