How many of you are up north? Please come to the East Midlands at some point. You all have so many sheds. So many great sheds...

That white 205 is the sort of car where if you left the sunroof open for a half-hour, someone would dump a mattress and TV in it...

Just, awesome.

I iz finally back home!

Done above 500miles with nothing more major than a few shitty welds on the zorst ... Meh

Best time was 17.359 over the 1/4 mile, average end speed was between 78 and 79 mph.

I don't care if it was the slowest veg chariot of the day because it was a great outing!

Octavia did unfortunately impress, I never expected that kind of performance from it ... Well done that man!

I am well up for a return visit but I need to recover first haha

Nice meeting all the ppl that attended, true to form we had to be shood off before getting locking in ðŸ‘Â

Glad you got back ok!

Xantia goes well - comfy and easy to drive:)

Octy seems to confuse most who drive it..

based on its showing today I may actually do some work to it..

HOME!

TFFT! Seven hours door to door, it took five to escape Scotlandshire FFS!

Super-brill weekend chaps, it's been emotional.

Never mind the chap in the BMW sleeping, I thought the chap in the AX had shuffled off this mortal coil until the nurse prodded him into action.

One of the reaction times was 3 seconds. Fuck knows what I was doing at that point, drinking emergency coolant or composing a letter to Art Garfunkel or something.

Les Tin des Bisquites fastest run was 20.21 seconds at a shattering 66 miles an hour, with 60 feet covered in 2.883 seconds which probably made it the slowest vehicle on the strip. Alas, pictures and whatnot will have to wait until tomorrow.

*Edited with correct results. Was very tired last night...*

My Satnav directed me home via Dundee for some reason, which is not the shortest route, but I'm guessing that may have been a quicker route.

I am making enquiries on remapping the boring, Darkside = v expensive and I'm a mingebag, so that's not happening. Unfortunately my car can not be mapped via odb, it is post 2001 VAG that can, mine needs a physical chip replacing.

Gutted I missed this, when's the next outing.

Apparently there is supposed to be a track day at knockhill first week in November.

Big thanks from these two ^ and me, to Scotty and B for FOADworx hospitality. Very much appreciated, we'd be glad to reciprocate any time you're in Yorkshireshire.

And to answer your question: Yes, it does run on veg :D

:) I don't know if we told Scotty (of if he was in a fit state to remember!) but its wheels are missing, so it also needs to be horizontal to work. And if you're running veg, it may want thinning down with some pez, and if it's dormant over summer after running veg, I'd put some dizzle or kero through it first so it doesn't gum up.

It had wheels at one point, I think Mike (Nisfan) lost them somehow.

I fired it up yesterday and it lit for a bit but then loads of smoke came out, but I assume this is because it has no fuel.

Noted - it will be getting used quite a bit from here on in I think as it's starting to get pretty cold.

Those space heaters can be a bit tempremental sometimes, the one at the farm is always away getting tinkered with.

So can folks post up their times please?
