well just bought a cheap corsa b off 1995 vintage,merit version,radio/cd worth more! bought for £275,tax,mot till may next year how,few odd jobs to do,front pads may need doing,they dont stop well,more to follow,pictures tomorrows...

Tax is not transferable it will show as taxed until the DVLA or whatever they are called this week receive the v5 and they cancel it from the date of owner change

,ive got it here,been to eurocarpart service stuff,comma anti-rust spray,pictures now enclosed,have managed to find some old but new astra brake pads,made by juratek!should fit,more to follow.

the dog is a right head case,loves pigeons,changed the air filter,it had gm in it,did front pads,what a nightmare was the drivers side,top bolt was seized,rounded of managed to undo the bottom one,than just pushed it of the top one,it seems the rear shoes are next,drives side track rod rubber no good,sprayed the inner front wing with black comma underseal,and chassis leg,passenger side front needs liitle tidying,plate put on,will get that done next week,on mot advise rear spring cups rusty,wire brushed,than sprayed with black under seal,seen very sold,passenger side has a small hole on sill,covered with filler,will take photos of the welding when i get it done next week,someone has painted the wheel trims black..

To clarify, item 4 on Cavcraft's list refers to the wheel trims the car currently sports, not the car.  I don't believe Cavcraft condones the smashing of Corsas with hammers unless they've done something particularly heinous.

changed the fanbelt today,it seems the bodgers had been theyre before,fanbelt was for bmw,one bolt was bent,hit with said lump hammer,got cheap belt from euro £3.79,new wiper blades £1.33 each,temp gauge does not move,cant find the sender gubbins,,front tyres look suspect,re the wheeltrims the kids like em...re front brakes will have to get new caliper pins,one is seized,thread rounded off,still mobile ,give it time for pads to bed in.
