It may need some sparkly stick action in the near future.

The inner wheel arch where it meets the boot floor looks a bit ripe on both sides.

Still not bad for a mid 80's Japanese car.

Love the 323. A mate had one in the early 90s, and the 1300 motor was lovely. It pulled really hard over around 3k iirc. Driving position just right - really well designed car.

I'm sure his had more grot on it 25 years ago. Looking forward to you bringing the old dear back to life.

Is the black up the sills/doors/arches a tide line or original two tone ?

Sills would have been black, but that's it.

That looks like a right little cracker.

I had great fun in one hooning around a paddock when I was about 12. I crashed it into a creek.

Yours is desperately crying out for an AA badge!

Spotted this today in kelso and it was pretty tidy too,

what a coincidence after reading this just this morning, I've not seen one in the flesh for yonks.

Great vid, makes me feel old though as I've driven a few of the barely recognisable wrecks you filmed.

Haven't seen Leslie out and about for ages.

I fitted a new starter motor to the 323 which now enables it to start first time, it had been a right ball-ache to get going before with it only engaging every now and then but it now starts straight away and seems to run fine.

I did other important jobs such as wire the stereo up to the ignition barrel which is just kind of dangling there, I need to find a steering cowling for it because it's missing.

Annoyingly some twat has crashed into the car in the space of a week of it sitting here.

It has a big scrape up the front wing which wasn't there when I bought it, I am mildly pissed off but can't really say anything because I'm taking up more space than I've really got and other people do need to get by the car which was sitting further out than it should be.

I went to East Kilbride this morning to pick up a set of wheels.

It was a bit disappointing to find out that only two of them were genuine E21 bmw Alpina alloys and the other two are just copies that look similar.

They were free so I'm not particularly bothered that they're not all the same. My plan is to clean them up, paint them and replace the tyres then fit them to the Felicia.

I got the wings back from being painted and fitted them to the Audi, it's really quite difficult to tell in the dark with the flash on the camera but I think they look similar to the rest of the car. I got the paint matched from the filler cap. I'm sure when it's dry, a bit dirtier and in daylight it will look fine.

See you later!

That's the 280CE away to a new home.

While I waited on the guy turning up, I passed the time by climbing to the top of the tower which was a little bit scary!

There was a ladder right up to the very top, I climbed it and popped my head out but the ladder was slippy at the top and I shat out of climbing any further.

Mrs Foad is thinking about selling her 190E, it's a 2.0 petrol auto with some form of lpg system which we've never used. It's a little bit rough around the edges and possibly has a scratch or two on every panel. I was thinking about a roffle, if there's any interest I'll create a new thread with some more pics and info.

Mot is out at the end of February if I remember right.

Oh dear, was it faded more in the rear quarter where the colour matched fuel cap was?

Or just a iffy match?

I'm not entirely sure, I don't really care either way. It looks better than primer.

I don't think it looks bad at all, it's always a challenge doing metallics a panel at a time even on the car.

If that 190 goes to roffle, I'll have a random or two.

I hope you change your mind on the 190 roffle. Looks ace.

It looks great in photos but is actually covered in scratches and lacquer peel.

Bonnie 190, I miss mine.

I was thinking about how much I missed my old ones.

I even looked on the internet at 190's for sale and was amazed at how highly priced they are now considering I never paid any more than £800 for any of mine :(
