Wanted (again) Small auto, £500ish.

After a few drives in the ex Ma Cobblers Golf, Ma Sporty has decided it's too big and she doesn't like it*. Coupled with the fact that Fatha Sporty had a bit of a bump in it yesterday, it's now fallen out of favour**. So, they want to go back to plan A and get a "proper" small car. omething like a Saxo, 106, Corsa or similar.

 

I'd be looking at the small ads right now, but I'd rather, if anyone has anythig, buy something from here that someone has had a bit of experience of. I really don't want to risk getting a pup.

 

So.... Anyone got anything.

 

 

*I will put a thread up about the Golf once it's been replaced.

**Also, because Fatha Sporty is fickle, he's decided he wants "his own" car. Something a bit sporty like an MX5, SLK or Z3. HHmmm.

Daft as it sounds, a Punto would probably be a bit big. Also, it is a Punto.

Might have an R plate SLK coming up, FathaNorfolk has one that's mostly sat around for the last 3 years, he's just getting rid of some property, so's feeling flush and thinking about spending my inheritance on a TR4, which would render the SLK surplus to requirements. Trouble is its a hideous tourquoise colour with green and blue leather. Who said Germans don't have a sense of humour?
