MGF facelift!

Morning All,

Just thought I'd share the fact that I'm replacing the front of my wife's MGF. She hit black ice last Dec' and went into a bank (a grass bank not a money one) so the front end got a little messed up.  I've removed the bumper which was fairly damaged, to find that the reinforcing bar behind it also needs replacing, I thought of trying to straighten it but the thing has done its job and deformed taking the impact.  Not bad considering she said it was "walking speed", she must be a quick walker!

So, I've sourced second hand replacements and primed the "new" bumper ready for some black spray and await the other turning up.  Will post some pics, it looks odd without it!

I wondered that, I've got a buckshee set of mpi alloys, might blow them over with a rattlecan of "anthracite" and see how it looks?

The wheels do seem 'dishier' than I recognise. Awkward 95.25mm PCD innit so surely not aftermarket.
