I can only access this actual thread on the main board as it just goes to the home page when you click anything else. Can still get private messages and 'likes' but that's about it.

I was stuck on the menu page but clearing Internet history, cache, cookies etc sorted the problem.

 

Now I have to remember the passwords for everything...

 

Edit, no it didn't! I'm stuck on the menu page again and can only access threads via my profile and previous posts.

The site works fine for lots of people, so I don't think that's the issue.

Anyone having issues try using a different browser than usual.

Ok,just changed some settings & rebooted all services.You may have to do cache & cookies again (just clear all autoshite ones,you can leave the others)

It may be that domain hasnt propogated totally yet,it can take up to 48 hours.

It works on my phone but I can't try on my home computer again until this evening. Changing my browser sounds a bit dramatic like, I don't think I'll be doing that, but thanks for the suggestion.

Everything seems to be working here (Teddington) on latest Firefox with Adblock Plus. Didn't have to clear the cookies or anything. Seems to be working fine on IE 10 here as well. Cheers for your hard work.

I can get on here some times, and other times it is not able to find some DNS or summat. Don't know why I am telling you this...

 

Like Cav I won't be changing browser but I will consult with the I.T. dept about the other stuff (because I haven't got a clue).

If you try to open the site on a different browser and it works on that browser then that tells you that it is something to do with your normal browser (not the site, not your computer) .... Cache or cookies most likely need clearing.

Most people have at least 2 broswers on their device, so it's usually quite easy to try another browser, some of us have 4 ...

 

 

DNS issue: open command prompt (start ->run->cmd)

In the black box type ipconfig /flushdns

Going to leave it here for a day or 2 just to be sure.

I will be moving us to new server (Which is now behaving itself) at some point this soon

I've tried that, didn't work but thanks anyhow. I can't get my head round the fact all the other websites I use are ok, it's only here since it's changed. I tried Firefox once ( a while back now) but something spazzed my pc up so I got rid of it.

Sorry for downtime.

Spent most of day yesterday moving Autoshite to new server which worked for 2 hours then became so slow that i could have pushed my volvo faster.

So rebuilt it,and again,and again.

Server hosts support even slower.

Think i may ask for refund and try somewhere else.

But we are now back to where we were yesterday.,no more disruption  or downtime for now.

Hopefully everyone can access ok.
