Are you asking what it's worth because you want to buy it or touting it about? Where is it?

Its worth whatever you wish to pay for it. What its worth to me will be different to what its worth to you.

On the one hand its a potential classic show car worth thousands

On the other hand its a tired 23 year old work van worth a couple of hundred tops.

WHS!  Have a look at Cavcraft's Fiorino thread, that's a comparable small commercial, should give you a starting point.  Don't forget to show us pics!

They seem to sell for £various but I'd say worth a bit more than an equivalent base model car. One of these with a tickled 1.9 td from a 306 is pretty much my dream vehicle

I'd suspect around £300-400 without seeing it. Check it for rust though, especially the boot floor.

Remember OLD and uncommon does not necessarily equate to worth ££££

These can be purchased for three goats and a couple of chickens yet are decidedly uncommon.

Weigh up what the car needs doing to it to get it to the condition YOU want it to be in.

Boot floor advice = SOUND.

Its a subjective question and people in my opinion get carried away when they want something or see potential £££ signs for a profit. Unless its mint and hardly used its not going to be worth above a few hundred, depending on the length of MOT. However in the effort to produce a helpful reply here goes :

Triggers advice is sound but like all 205's the bits to look out for are:

Rear beams, look to see if the rear wheels are "leaning in" either bearings or if you are unlucky the beam.

Boot floor, rear arches, rear inner arches around the mounting points for the shockers, front inner wings, rear sills and front turrets, behind the fuel tank and fuel lines are all areas which by now will be starting to suffer from corrosion.

The XU9D engine needs coolant changes to avoid OMG HGF, but if it does suffer with this its not the end of the world as long as ts not run hot for any length of time and warps the head. Look for bubbles in the expansion tank or mayo under the filler cap ( though occasionally they can suffer blocked breathers and develop mayo)

Front suspension can develop "clonks" and is usually drop links which are cheap and easy to fix, and ball joints which are cheap and but a swearathon to remove - look for tyre wear on the inner edge.

As a (very) small van, uses fairly limited but still has appeal for various uses such as dogs/fishing/general crap haulage.

Price? Pretty hard to say without pictures or better description, but I'd certainly think that if it's useable and has a decent amount of test (as stated) it has to be worth a minimum of £300-£325.

If it's half decent then it's value will be about £450-£500: it won't necessarily be a quick sale at that end of the price spectrum, as it'll be compared (by people too stupid to know better) to stuff like more modern vans.

To sum up I'd suggest it's almost certainly a thinking man's van: someone who wants a useful, cheap, reliable works tool that won't cost a fortune to buy or use. Happily it's age will write off probably 90% of the absolute knob weasels who just want a cheap van and have neither enough money nor thinking power to buy it.

I only was interested in what people thought they were worth as some may have seen them up for sale or know a couple that may have sold. As there is non on ebay I wasnt sure if they went for a bit more with being a van.

The van belongs to a garage which he has recently leased out so is getting rid of the van as he no longer needs it. He wants £400 for it so if anyones interested in it pm me.

Id of bought it as maybe a future classic and a cheap runabout. with a scimitar. Barracuda on the drive and a mercury on its way over will be bit tight for space

But thanks for the advice
