I am not sure if its come up (I have had a quick look and not seen owt) but if the July 1995 Top Gear magazine comes up where they were banger racing at the Oval In Angmering, could I grab that as I seem to remember that was in the background on the front cover (unless I dreamt it). 

 

You cant tell its me as its blurry but I recognised myself because of what I was wearing. IIRC it was a grey PWEI top.

I honestly can't remember. I just recall my mate pointing us out in Woolies which we thought was pretty cool at the time. Had a quick look through the rest of the magazine and could not spot us in the feature and never bought it. Seeing these old copies reminded me so I just looked up the issue online

I have a copy here, It's a pretty good issue in fact where they buy a number of old shiters for under £500 including a Citroen CX (that's still taxed) and Volvo 265 Estate and a mint Wolseley 16/60 as well as give away a Morris Marina in a competition.
