Bunch of Wonder Wheels products are £1 at Halfords

I wouldn't normally promote a company like this but this seems to be too much of a barg to miss out on especially if you normally buy stuff like this anyway, plus this stuff tends to be quite cheap anyway so probably suits the kind of vehicles some of you have (no offence).

All 500ml bottles for a pound each. I was running low on wheel cleaner, upholstery cleaner and bug remover anyway so a potential £17.50 top-up wound up being 3 quid, neat.

That it is, no way they are making a profit on it. The woman behind the till reckoned that they just weren't selling so I guess they are just trying to offload them en masse.

My 2 local's have none but i can travel 15 or 30 miles to spend a pound,as they only have 1 of the 7 that i would have bought.

Just tried click and collect with my local store and it says the products aren't available to collect from there but I saw for myself that there was plenty so it might be worth just popping into a local store if you find yourself near one in the next few days.

I strongly suspect they're not going to put a deal like that online. All about getting you into the store, so they can then try and sell you other things.

Tried online said nearest store was in Leeds 48 miles away. Went to local store in Rotherham and found they had a full stock of them. Got rapid upholstery cleaner, car shampoo and something called Roof Box cleaner for 10p. Don't know what else it does but at 10p I'll find a use. Probably do for cleaning bumpers up or using on door cards.

 

Really wanted the glass polish though but its sold out.

None in Aberdeen, Inverurie, Kirkcaldy or Dunfermline which are the likely places I'm going to be. Dundee however had 2 bottles of Polish left so I'll pick them up when I pass through on Monday. Thanks for the tip

Mmmm, sorry all, pardon me for being the guy that looks gift-horses firmly in the gob but I'm getting rather cynical of these wonderful offers that from what many of you are saying aren't actually in stock at your respective local stores. It seems to me a bit of a 'Get-em through the doors' strategy, once they are in, we can get them to part with their money.

Sorry for the negativity (been a trying night shift!) and thanks to the OP for the heads-up but this seems to be happening quite alot recently. (I'm not a fan of this store so if you find any barg's - hit em up good!!).

I popped in to halfords this morning for a look. Lots of stickers for wonder wheels stuff and some t cut etc at £1' £2 or £3 but no actual stock, just empty shelves.

Got some vinyl cleaner for £3 this morning ,Mother Hubbards cupboard had more stock though as that was it apart from some floppy top cleaner .

I popped into the Aberdeen branch today. Still priced at £1 but empty shelves apart from the wonder wheels air freshener, which I hoovered up,the last 2 bottles of.

 

It did a great job of masking the smell of the massive shit the cat had left in the kitchen when I came home.
