He's going to turn up apparently at 1.30 I'm hoping the wife turns up and asks for another test drive first and starts asking silly questions again.

One of the questions last time was why is the coolant bright pink next time I will drain the system and just add muddy water lol.

Get your Dad to nip down the bank. convert the £100 deposit into 2p pieces, and then , without a word, hand them over when they knock on the door.

I wish we had the right to bear arms. It would solve a lot of the problems we see right there and then. Including the above mongtards.

Oh but we do... you just need a licence. And you're not allowed to shoot at mongs.

I've been toying with the idea of starting a "gunshite" thread in the off-topic area.

EDIT: are they there yet???

How about now??

I'm not normally one to take issue with spelling & grammar & the like,

Also I don't know much about guns, but I really do think you mean gun-sight there.

Oh come on, if this place was what it used to be there would be a video already uploaded to youtube of the bloke and his Mrs getting £100 in small change dropped on them from a great height (upstairs window) then Vince pulling a moony in the downstairs window !!

I'm so sorry but it ended up very uneventful in the end.

I got my father to pick me up from work as I thought I better to get back just in case the guys misses started again but in the end he popped over on his pushbike on his own..

He ended up being a very agreeable chap and had a coffee and just went on his way, I think he was quite embarrassed hence leaving her at home.

I was paid in cash and got a dated and signed receipt for the car so it all ended up well..

Im just off to post the logbook off now.

I did notice the logbook is in her name so I guess that's why I got the sob story to get a bit more money off .

Oh, well, result in your favour (and his, except his other half).   8)

Right, and now it's nothing to do with you. I hope you made that very clear to him - spelling it out if necessary.

Have you had a text message threatening small claims court yet over some mysterious broken item?

Come on, they turned up, haggled, agreed a price, left a deposit, came back, handed over the balance and drove away.

I wish all deals went as well.

Whew... glad that nobody took me up on that 20p bet...

[/relieved]

Doctormop, I suggest you buy a lottery ticket tonight... your judgment is spot-on.

Just goes to show what a load of bastards we are though, doesn't it?

We took part in a virtual witch-hunt of some people we'd never met, deciding that they were chiselling chav scummers on the basis of a reported conversation and a great deal of prejudice and wishful thinking.

Still... it was a laugh, wasn't it? :-D

And all's well that ends well.

Although Vince will probably have to buy another car with his dad now...

He popped over on his pushbike?

I thought it was £20 pez money the first time they came to see it? He must have been riding since they got home after the viewing!

He actually sounds alright, considering he lives with that woman.

Respect to him and his dodgy A4 with dangerous sunvisors and ill fitted indicator stalk.
